Rental Requirements
What are your rental requirements?
Renters must have a valid driver's license, active insurance that covers rental vehicles or purchase insurance, and provide a security deposit at pickup (amount varies by vehicle). Only approved drivers may operate the vehicle, and rentals are Florida-only unless approved in writing.
What is the security deposit policy?
A security deposit is required at pickup and varies by vehicle. The deposit may be reduced during the rental if charges occur and must be replenished if reduced. Failure to top up the deposit may result in termination of the rental.
When is the security deposit returned?
Security deposits are typically refunded immediately after the vehicle is returned and inspected. In some cases, additional time may be required to complete the inspection or process charges, and deposits may be returned within 24–72 hours, less any applicable fees.
Insurance & Coverage
What if the vehicle is damaged?
Renters are responsible for any damage, including minor damage, loss of use, diminished value, and related fees.
Is insurance included in the rental price?
No. Renters must have their own active auto insurance that covers rental vehicles, or purchase insurance through Atlas Luxury for an additional daily fee. Any optional insurance is provided by a third-party insurer and is subject to their terms.
Policies & Payments
Are there mileage limits?
Mileage limits vary by vehicle. Excess mileage will be charged at a per-mile rate based on the vehicle selected.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, major credit and debit cards, Zelle, and Apple Pay. All payment methods are subject to approval at the time of booking or pickup.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made 72+ hours before the rental start time may be eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made 24–72 hours prior may receive a partial refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the rental start time are non-refundable. All cancellation requests are subject to Atlas Luxury approval and the terms of the signed rental agreement.
Can I extend my rental period?
Yes, extensions are subject to vehicle availability and approval. You must request an extension before your scheduled return time, and additional charges apply. Extensions are not confirmed until payment is received.
Logistics & Services
What areas do you serve?
We are based in Miami and serve South Florida, including Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. Vehicles must remain within the state of Florida, unless prior written approval is provided.
What happens if the vehicle breaks down?
If the vehicle becomes inoperable, roadside assistance is available through a third-party provider. Any services provided, including towing, are the renter's responsibility. If applicable and approved, we may arrange a repair or replacement vehicle at our discretion.
